From Elizabeth Gilbert (eat, pray, love) to Donna Woolfolk Cross (Pope Joan) and Kim Ponders (The Last Blue Mile), the topics of the Literary Salons and the authors were engaging and varied. We laughed through WITERATURE!, re-visited Jane Austen and really did get out hankies in the Memoirs of Hope and Redemption Salon. Quite the variety, indeed! Just like our own book clubs and reading groups!
The wine was tasty, the chocolate divine—and the jewelry, art and bra booth (yes!) were all great hits as well. Chapter Two, once again, showed that there is a new and different way of making literature more important than ever. A book gathering with a twist!
We know your book group is important to you because it is important to us. And if you missed us at this year's expo, we definitely missed you. Wish you were with us but couldn't make it?
